	The first RECOIL prototype was a pair of hobo gloves constructed out of surplus knit material. The magnets were placed into small pockets I sewed directly onto the gloves. Data Anxiety Responsivity of Magnets Conclusions: People were very wary of allowing the gloves near their digital devices. The effect was something like "digital leprosy" as people did not want to risk having personal elctronic devices damaged. The magnets contained enough strength to attract not only to the environment, but to themselves.
